Facilitating learning

You can be as skilful a leader as you like. However, you cannot control what participants learn - each person is responsible for their own learning - but you can facilitate it. 

As a leader, you can create the best possible learning situation. Be creative in your thinking. Dare to think differently. Dare to try new ways of working.

    - When you are interested in something, you want to learn more. 

 

  • VARIED WORKING METHODS
    - By varying the working methods you keep the interest up. Alternate theory and practice. 

 

  • POSITIVE ENVIRONMENT
    - The physical environment affects the psychological environment. Try to make your study space as pleasant as possible. 

 

  • SAFETY
    - Try to create an atmosphere where everyone feels safe. You should dare to make a fool of yourself. 

 

  • CO-OPERATION
    - Learning from each other is the basic idea of a study circle. 

 

  • APPRECIATION AND ENCOURAGEMENT
    - Give praise! Even small progress or attempts are important to encourage.
